Staff Conduct Policy
How Next RP staff are expected to behave and are held accountable.
Next RP staff are held to the same standards as players — and in many areas, higher standards. This policy outlines expectations for all staff members and how the community can raise concerns.
Staff Expectations
- Act impartially — do not favour friends or punish enemies
- Be transparent about decisions when appropriate
- Do not abuse admin tools for personal gain or fun
- Treat all players with respect regardless of their history
- Escalate complex situations to senior staff rather than acting unilaterally
- Log all punishments issued with clear reasoning
Staff Are Players Too
When off-duty, staff are subject to the same rules as any player. Staff status does not grant immunity from rule violations.
Filing a Staff Complaint
If you believe a staff member has acted improperly, you can file a complaint through the Discord ticket system. Select "Staff Complaint" and provide as much detail as possible, including any evidence.
Complaints are reviewed by senior staff and management. If a staff member is found to have acted improperly, they will be subject to internal disciplinary action up to and including removal.
Staff Abuse
Zero Tolerance for Abuse
Staff who abuse their position — spawning items for friends, banning players out of spite, or otherwise misusing admin powers — face immediate demotion and potentially a permanent community ban.
