Your character is your vessel in the Next RP world. Take time with their creation — a well-defined character leads to much richer roleplay experiences.

Naming Your Character

Character names must be realistic and appropriate. First and last name required. No celebrity names, meme references, or offensive names. Staff reserve the right to require a name change.

Building a Backstory

Your character doesn't need a detailed written biography, but you should know: where they came from, what they do for a living, and what motivates them. This will guide your roleplay decisions naturally.

Appearance

Use the character creator to build a realistic appearance that matches your character concept. Avoid extreme or joke appearances that break immersion.

Multiple Characters

Players may have up to two characters. Characters must be completely separate — no sharing assets, information, or resources between them. This is a form of metagaming.
