Joining the Server
How to connect to Next RP for the first time.
Next RP runs on FiveM, a multiplayer modification framework for Grand Theft Auto V. You'll need a legitimate, fully updated copy of GTA V and FiveM installed before you can join.
Requirements
- Grand Theft Auto V (Steam, Epic Games, or Rockstar Launcher)
- FiveM client — download from fivem.net
- A linked Cfx.re (FiveM) account
- A Next RP Discord account (required for whitelist and support)
Link Your Cfx.re Account
You must sign in to FiveM with a Cfx.re account before connecting. See our full guide: How to Create and Link a Cfx.re Account.
Connecting

Install FiveM
Download and install the FiveM client from fivem.net. Launch it once to let it fully initialise before connecting to a server.

Find Next RP
Open FiveM and search "Next RP" in the server browser, or use direct connect:
cfx.re/join/y9vyeem3
Read the Rules
Before your first session, read the Community Guidelines and Roleplay Standards. You will be asked to agree to the rules on first join.
Australian Servers
Our servers are hosted in Australia (Sydney region) for optimal AU/NZ latency. Players from other regions are welcome but may experience higher ping.
Your First Join
On your first connection you will be taken through a character creation process. Take your time — your character name and appearance are important for immersion and cannot be changed frequently.
After you spawn in, bookmark the Common Commands and Common Keybinds pages — they cover everything you need for day-to-day play.
