Ban Appeals
How to appeal a ban from the Next RP server or Discord.
If you have received a ban and believe it was issued incorrectly, or if you have served your time and wish to appeal, you may submit a ban appeal through our Discord.
Zero-Tolerance Bans Cannot Be Appealed
Bans issued for zero-tolerance violations (CSAM, extreme hate speech, real-world threats, etc.) are permanent and not eligible for appeal under any circumstances.
Appeal Eligibility
Not all bans are eligible for appeal. Please review the following before submitting:
- You must wait at least 7 days from the ban date before submitting an appeal
- You may only submit one appeal per ban
- If a previous appeal was denied, you must wait 30 days before reapplying
- Zero-tolerance bans are not eligible for appeal
- Ban evasion (joining on an alt account) will void your appeal eligibility permanently
How to Submit an Appeal
1
Join the Discord
You must be a member of our Discord server to submit an appeal. Join via the invite link on our website if you have not already.
2
Open a Ticket
Navigate to the #open-a-ticket channel in Discord and select "Ban Appeal". A private ticket channel will be created for you.
3
Complete the Template
You will be given a template to fill out. Answer every question fully and honestly. Incomplete appeals will be closed without review.
4
Wait for a Response
Appeals are reviewed within 48–72 hours by senior staff. Do not ping staff or send follow-up messages — this will not speed up the process and may result in denial.
Appeal Template
Your appeal should include the following information:
Your In-Game Name:
Your Discord Tag:
Date of Ban:
Reason Given for Ban:
Why You Believe the Ban Was Incorrect (or Why You Should Be Unbanned):
Evidence Supporting Your Appeal:
What Will You Do Differently?
Appeal Outcomes
Appeals may result in one of three outcomes:
- Approved — Ban is lifted, or reduced to a shorter duration
- Denied — Ban remains in place; you may reapply after 30 days
- Permanently Closed — Due to conduct during the appeal process (e.g. harassment of staff)
Be Honest
Appeals that demonstrate genuine understanding of the rules and accountability for actions are far more likely to be approved. Deflection, dishonesty, or hostility will result in denial.
