Rule Violations
How Next RP handles breaches of the community guidelines.
To maintain the integrity of the community and a positive roleplay environment, violations of our rules carry consequences. Punishments are issued at staff discretion and scaled to the severity and frequency of the violation.
Severity Tiers
Violations are categorised into four tiers. Repeated offences at any tier will escalate the punishment to the next tier automatically.
Examples: Minor metagame, wrong channel in Discord, minor RP disruption
Consequence: Verbal warning or 1–24 hour ban
Examples: RDM, VDM, powergaming, NLR breach, harassment
Consequence: 3–7 day ban
Examples: Repeated offences, cheating, doxxing, abuse of staff
Consequence: 14–30 day ban or permanent
Examples: CSAM, extreme hate speech, real-world threats
Consequence: Immediate permanent ban — no appeal
Appeals & Disputes
If you believe a punishment was applied incorrectly or unjustly, you may submit a ban appeal. Appeals are reviewed by senior staff within 48–72 hours. Appeals for zero-tolerance violations are not accepted.
Staff Discretion
Staff reserve the right to issue punishments outside the standard tiers when circumstances warrant it. This includes situations not explicitly covered by the rules. If you feel a staff member has acted improperly, contact a senior staff member or the management team.
